To be more accurate, it was a few hours over two days. Last April I selected an area in nearby woods under several hemlock trees in which to place my camera trap (often referred to as a game or trail camera). The area appeared to be a good place for critters to hang out due to the cover and the access to the creek just down the hill. The amount of time I left the camera was random and at one point it was convenient to swap SD cards in the camera just to see if the hunch panned out. I was surprised by the amount and variety of animals that had passed through the small area under the trees. This represents four minutes and nineteen seconds distilled from that first SD card.
