A doe takes her two fawns up the creek, lets them sniff all three cameras and returns back down stream. What’s that about? Then there’s that monster raccoon.
When it gets scorching hot in the summer, I look for animals doing what we do, trying to stay cool. All of my cameras were directed at water. It turned out to be a good idea. This is one of my favorite episodes so far.
This month, in the woods and another flood in the swamp. Traffic on the hiking trail, a flock of bird calls and chipmunk stranded by the flood with no rescue available.
This one gets off to a noisy start with trail cam activity near the log bridge.
The log over the creek is a convenience for some and just an obstacle to others. The wood ducks have returned an a young coyote has appeared. This is part I of a two part series at the bridge.
Strange things happening to camera temperature. The trail camera is apparently detecting more than just the ambient outdoor temperature. Didn’t know deer were that hot!
